I have learned how to love my life — even its hardships — it has drawn me ever closer to my soul’s path dance. My soul dance that includes a magical self-love that is abundant, unconditional and fills me with zesty joy! It feels like a miracle.

Who’d have thought my own crazy mishmash of experiences would lead me here? Here’s my short list: parents who struggled with alcohol and drugs and who married and divorced more times than I can count (actually 7 marriages and 6 divorces); my own arranged marriage at age 17 as a young turbaned Sikh; a younger brother, my only sibling, ironically killed shortly after becoming clean and sober by a drunk driver; and a childhood filled with insecurity and seemingly no way to fit in.

And yet, ultimately, I combined these unhappy experiences with beautiful ones to teach me love for my own essence. Unknowingly, my father instilled within me my fun and wackiness, while my mother showed me how to create a cozy home. My first husband gave me 2 amazing, now grown, children. Struggling to find acceptance as a child taught me to trust my intuition completely. And after growing up with a succession of step-parents, knowing what I didn’t want helped me find and marry the love of my life, my forever best friend husband, Jim. We celebrated 24 years in March 2015.

Today, I am confidently on my soul path dance, and I live each moment to its fullest, immersed in the NOW.
